Le Nuku Hiva, a Relais & Ch\u00e2teaux property, has completed the renovation of its accommodations, bringing guests closer to the island's soul.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The bungalows sit on the hillside above Taiohae Bay. Inside, woven pandanus ceilings, new furnishings, tapestries reimagined with Marquesan motifs. The bathrooms have been rebuilt from scratch, with double vanities and quiet, contemporary lines.

Each veranda opens onto the bay itself: a volcanic amphitheatre held between dark hills, watched over by two rock formations known as the Sentinels.<\/p>\n\t\t\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n\n<\/div>\n
