Le Bora Bora Achieves Five-Star Classification
Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts has been awarded a five-star classification and has joined the Serandipians network by Traveller Made. The recognitions follow the two Michelin Keys awarded to the hotel in 2025, placing it among the world's most distinguished luxury addresses.Le Bora Bora has built its case for the classification around a set of experiences developed specifically around the island's culture and geography, rather than around amenities alone.
Art throughout the property
Sculpted tikis, contemporary works, and pieces by Polynesian artists are placed throughout the gardens, common areas, rooms, and pathways. The property treats the placement of each work as deliberate, part of what it describes as a stay that functions as a journey through Polynesian culture rather than a backdrop to it.
That approach extends to the Tevairoa Gallery, a dedicated space on the property with dark walls and low lighting, built for dialogue with Polynesian artists. Paintings, sculptures, and other visual works from the fenua (the local term for homeland) are on display and available for purchase.
The only golf practice area on the island
Le Bora Bora is currently the only property on Bora Bora with a golf practice area. The driving range extends 200 meters through the hotel's gardens, set within lush vegetation, giving guests access to a facility unavailable elsewhere on the island.
A restaurant built on a dialogue between two cuisines
The property's restaurant, Poerava, is set in a secret garden and led by chef Guillaume Hel Guillou. The kitchen pairs Polynesian ingredients with French culinary technique, offered through 3-course discovery menus and 5-course tasting menus.
Spa programs expand with Cinq Mondes
The Tāvai Spa, located at the center of the property and surrounded by water and greenery, has added two treatments from French brand Cinq Mondes: the Ko Bi Do, an anti-aging ritual drawing on Japanese technique, and the Five Flowers Treatment, a radiance ritual built around tropical floral extracts.
A twice-weekly cultural program
Every Monday and Friday, facing Mount Otemanu, the property hosts an evening of dance and music on its paepae, a ceremonial platform rooted in Polynesian tradition.
